Robotic surgery

Precision through a few small openings

With robotic-assisted surgery, Dr. Moore operates through several small incisions using a magnified 3D view and wristed instruments that move with more range than the human hand. He controls every movement — the robot does not operate on its own.

For many patients that can mean less pain, smaller scars and a quicker return to normal routines than a traditional open operation.

Not every patient or condition is suited to a robotic approach. Dr. Moore will recommend the safest option for you at your consultation.

Smaller incisions

Typically a few small openings instead of one large cut.

Magnified 3D view

High-definition visualization for precise, careful work.

Often less pain

Less tissue disruption can mean an easier recovery.

Back sooner

Many patients go home the same day or the next.
